About PowerStack.
PowerStack is a reference site for the Microsoft Power Platform — Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot Studio — built around one idea: the Power Platform deserves better documentation.
What we do
- Tutorials — 220+ hands-on guides, from your first canvas app to production-grade DAX performance tuning, each with runnable examples and real-world patterns.
- Learning Paths — structured sequences that take you from beginner to certification-ready without guessing what to read next.
- Certification guides — complete study guides for Power Platform and AI certifications like PL-400, with decision tables and flashcards.
- Cheat Sheets — quick-reference pages for Power Fx functions, DAX patterns, and flow expressions.
- Power Fx Playground — try formulas directly in your browser.
- Stax — an AI assistant that has read every page on the site and can answer questions in context.
Who writes this
PowerStack is written and maintained by Narmer Abader, a Power Platform practitioner, along with editorial contributions from verified practitioners who build with these tools daily. Every article is based on hands-on experience — built, tested, and kept current with each platform release.
Why we built it
Official documentation tells you what a function does. It rarely tells you when to use it, what breaks in production, or how the pieces fit together. PowerStack fills that gap: practical patterns, honest trade-offs, and examples you can copy into your own apps and flows today.
Independence
PowerStack is independently operated and not affiliated with Microsoft. Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio, and related marks are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies.
The site is free to read and supported by advertising and reader donations via Ko-fi.
